How to accept Petsafe deposits on your advert

STEP 1

Place an advert in puppies/dogs or kittens/cats

You can do this when posting a  new advert or by editing an existing one.

STEP 2

Receive a deposit request

We will notify you when a buyer wants to pay a deposit via PetSafe via email and in your messages

If you haven't registered a PetSafe account, you will be prompted to verify your ID and add a bank account.

**There are no charges for breeders using this service to re-home pets

STEP 3

Select the deposit amount and accept

The buyer can then pay the deposit to your PetSafe wallet or you can reject this request.

STEP 4

Arrange a home visit so the buyer can view your lovely pets

If both parties are happy, ask the buyer to release the deposit, this will be transferred to you automatically.

Arrange payment of the remaining balance on collection (please ensure the deposit has been released to you prior to letting the pet go to its forever home).

**unreleased deposits held for 75 days will be returned to the buyer
